2025 Swiss Lead Youth Championship U13, U15, U17 (Magnet, Niederwangen)
Jonas Rheinberger finished the national competition season with a solid 7th place in the U17 category.
Bächli Bergsport Youth Climbing Cup (Ap 'n Daun, Chur)
Jonas Rheinberger secured his first podium finish in the U17 Lead category, coming in third. Congratulations!
2025 Youth World Championships Helsinki
At the end of July, young climbers from around the world gathered in Helsinki. Jonas Rheinberger (U17) finished his first major lead climbing competition in an impressive 32nd place. He came 47th in the bouldering competition. In addition to competing, the Liechtenstein Climbing team also volunteered at the event. This gave us valuable experience as referees and belayers.
IFSC Youth European Cup Molde 2025
Jonas Rheinberger (U17) competed in his first international bouldering competition and finished in a respectable 24th place.
IFSC Membership
The Sport Climbing Association Liechtenstein was accepted as the 102nd member of the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) on May 14, 2025. Although official ratification by the IFSC General Assembly will not take place until spring 2026 in Riyadh, athletes from Liechtenstein can already participate in IFSC competitions.
Boulder Swiss Championship 2025 (Youth - U13, U15, U17)
This year's Swiss Bouldering Championships took place on April 5 at O'bloc in Ostermundingen.
Jonas Rheinberger qualified for the finals in fifth place out of 18 qualified U17 climbers and defended this position in the finals. We congratulate him on this success!
